I saw the trailer a few weeks ago and was excited. Now I check out rottentomatoes.com today and search for any reviews, and to my astonishment it has a 100% fresh rating! Wow! It opens on July 30; I will be there.

But what really has me more intrigued is the cast. Zach Braff from the TV series "Scrubs" has his first chance in the movies and I think he might stick. Being on "Scrubs" gives him summers off; he uses his time wisely. He wrote and directed this coming of age romantic comedy, I know how cliche'. This movie isn't the run of the mill. The cast is rounded out by Natalie Portman:D and Ian Holm.

Just wanted to hear everyone's opinion on this movie.

I really want to see this also, but I always get a kick out of the writer/director/star trifecta. It's typically some guy, and the guy just oh, you know, ends up having sex with someone like Natalie Portman. Gosh, but he's anguished too! :D

The worst case is Vincent Gallo (of Buffalo 66, etc). In his film Brown Bunny (which I have not seen), he apparently is writer/director/cinematographer/star, and gee, he receives very graphic fellatio (according to all reviews) from, um, Chloe Sevigny.

"Yeah, okay Chloe that was okay, but let's take a five-minute break and then we need to shoot that scene again, this time with a little more feeling, m'kay?... Huh? Why do you need to call your agent?"
