Fraggle Rock? here's a little thread about FR http://bbs.clutchcity.net/php3/showthread.php?s=&threadid=13143 (fraggle)rockHEAD
The quarterback on our football team had a real long neck and would imitate beaker. It would kill us how good he was at it. Every time I see beaker I get a little vaclemt thinking of the good old days
My vote goes to either: 1) Yoda (TESB and ROTJ) 2) Jen (The Dark Crystal) (Well, they are muppets, in theory...)
these dudes were muppets too!! "Look at the birds up in the tree" "We're not birds, we're a jugband!" rH
rH- Dude, you made my day (even if you misspelled Olly). THE CRESCENT FRESH DUO! Yeah, they may just be sock puppets, but they're better than ANY Jim Henson creation. ROCK!
Sadly, the show was taken off the air after 2 seasons. I hear a third season was made, and it might make its way onto DVD (one can only pray). I have most of season 1 and 2 on tape (4 tapes worth!). How the hell can you have Beaker, the Professor's assistant and not have the freakin' professor?! I VOTE PROFESSOR BUNSEN HONEYDEW!!!!
Fraggle Rock was cool. I liked the Doozers and the Professor who traveled the world and wrote back to all the other fraggles. I also liked the great trash Heap. Emmit Otter's jug band Christmas was a classic . I don't remember much about it, but I remember waiting for it every year. What's a muppet? Oh my god! Am I that old....They are worth your time to check out. With all due respect to the Professor, Beaker was the man. Even though they do all the work, the lab rats never get any of the credit for the cures. And Miss Piggy continues to get shut out like biggio. If you do a search on google you can find a list of every single muppet that ever made an appearance. That will bring back some memories I tell ya.
I voted Animal, but the Swedish checf and Beaker were VERY close second! My favorite muppet show was when Animal played with world famous jazz drummer Buddy Rich! Holy Drumheads!!! Buddy-Freakin-Rich!!
The two guys who sat in the the balcony and had a comment about every sketch in the show. Funny stuff! Anyone here remember Sooty? It's a very old puppet show from England (I think).
Amen to that. I have a Buddy Rich video set that has that footage on there. It's hilarious, Animal has that confused, shocked look on his face. God bless Buddy Rich. DeanBCurtis, It's not quite a mop, and it's not quite a puppet, but oh.......so to answer your question, I don't know.
