We have a Dyson and love it. We got the Rainbow demonstration done even though we were upfront with the salesman saying we couldn't afford one. It was a truly awesome demo. With that said though, a Dyson is a great machine and I'm always amazed how much dust it picks up, even when we had just vacuumed the week before. We've had several vacuum cleaners over the years in the 150.00 to 300.00 range and they all completely blow compared to the Dyson.
