my vote goes to Montrose/The Heights.

But I haven't really worked in these other areas, so feel free to say, "thadeus, you're awesome" and ignore this post.

ugh, neither. downtown has slightly more bearable traffic.

I've worked in places all over this city, including Galleria and downtown...

By far, downtown is the best location to work in Houston.

I really enjoyed working downtown, primarily because of the tunnels. As for scenery though, my time working in the Galleria area has without a doubt been the best.

How long ago did you work downtown? Scenery downtown has increased dramatically in recent years.

I like the Memorial area/Voss offices alot. Its usually nestled in between some trees or forest, and they are quite calming. Only bad part is driving on I-10.

I enjoyed working downtown because of the P&R, tunnels and restaurants. The traffic around the Galleria would scare the daylights out of me if I worked standard day hours.

The Gallaria traffic is possibly the worst in the city. I would rather work Downtown because of the Park and Ride.

    But...

Allen Parkway rules all. Right between uptown, downtown and The Heights.

Downtown: Rooftop views of scenery at the condo-roof pools appears notable absent in the Galleria... maybe the scenic view from my building is obscured.

Galleria: Scenery aslo happens to change foliage out in the Galleria area at work before heading over Memorial Park to go jogging. I don't remember seeing much of that downtown.

Overall, Galleria is better so far. :)
