    I'm tired of PF's that play below the rim and don't do work on the defensive glass. West is the softest "tough guy" in the league. He's a good piece but he's not worth the MLE and doesn't fit here IMO. You let a Lamarcus Aldridge take jumpers all day (he also protects the glass), but West? Not in this scheme...

    I'd rather pay less for Scola or Boozer.

    It's one thing to trade a Papa-type contract for a West mid-year but to invest your MLE in someone like that this early... pass. West would be wise to stay in the east, he's on a completely different (lower) tier out here compared to WC PF's.
