Let me pull out my trusty list...

I would hit up Molinas. Their Jose's dip is awesome.

    Then rent Scream.

    Nice.

What about Papa Citas I used to love that place back when I was in the Woodlands.

    So here is my suggestion:
    6:00pm Dinner at Papa Citas
7:30pm Rockets vs Magic (from what I've heard about attendance this year it'll be empty like a scary old haunted house and there will be Magic)

    ...

Wow I really need some sleep right about now that is a really dumb joke (and it's only 7 F&%#ing 30)

    Damn School!

    AntiSonic,

I would second the nomination of America's. Its wonderful and I'll be there on Friday night! If you don't want to spend that much...a meal for two will run around $60-$70, then Churrasco's is similar but not as posh.

Another place for Authentic Mexican food is Las Alamedas on I-10, prices range and a two person meal would run around $50-$55. But it is authentic Mexican food and the ambiance is perfect for a date.

Personally I never go to the movies on a first date. Dinner then someplace like a nice bar to just talk and get to know each other. Tell her something like " I love spending time with you, and even if we go to the movie, I will be wanting to talk to you"
You can't get a girl comfortable if you're not talking to her and getting to know her. Just my thoughts....

FD- you would tell her you "LOVE" spending time with her when it`s your first date? Stay away from the "L" word ;)

I like papasitos as a restaurant for a first date, not to quiet and has a great atmosphere. A scary movie is also a good choice, promotes snuggling. Good Luck!

If this is a first date, do not go all out. Go to a nice place, but not too expensive. Cafe Adobe is a good choice. The Blue Agave is also a good place to go. As for movies, The Rothman Prophesies(is that correct??) is showing at the theatres now and looks like it might be kinda scary and dramatic.

    Good Call RockSS,

I really "enjoy"!!! spending time together! A girl just wants to be comfortable with you. Then she can justify giving our little Antisonic some lovin! If she's mentally comfortable with you its much easier to make her physically comfortable is all I am saying.

A few drinks in a nice bar on a plush couch, will make her putty in your hands!

For the bar a few suggestions:
drewdog's : Ling and Javier in Hotel Derek

    Downing Street (kirby and westheimer)
Chianti /Martini Bar on S. Post Oak
Saba Downtown (any night but Saturday!!)
    Dean's downton (Main near Saba)

And I almost forgot one of my favorite places.

Bossa, its on Main street downtown, its a Cuban restaurant that is very cool. The food is wonderful, the prices are reasonable and the service and ambiance is amazing!
If you go there try the Mojito's, its a Cuban drink and if you order it you may get points in the sophistification departement!
