Where can i buy some good costillas de res in houston?

    Looking to BBQ this weekend.

Around 1 to 1.5 inches thick, with some good marbling.

I know of La Michoacana, but any other places that i should check out?

    Thanks!

Look for Celaya Meat Market. There's bound to be one around where you are and I know two are near where I live in Katy. You can get these ribs either marinated, plain, cut sideways, or cut whole.

In what part of town are you?

In my opinion, yes they are. I've tried both, but my taste might be different. The spices on the marinating are "red" at Celaya. ENJOY, man. You've made me want to grill something soon.

I recently discovered Pancho's Meat Market, not too far from your area. I would definitely give them a try - much better than Michoacana.
