Contractors

I was wondering if any of you knew of some good contractors to do some work in a home. The property I am looking at will need some work done inside and outside. The AC & furnace, roof, hot water heaters, and electric service panel have been recently updated. The foundation also has been recently replaced but now there are some cracks on the interior walls and there is a crack along one of the outer brick walls. Most of the work needed for the home is cosmetic. I am thinking I would need to put in about $30-$40K to make this place look great. If I get this place it will be my first home so based on inexperience I could be overestimating. Do you guys know a ball park figure on getting some of the walls replaced (or fixed)? I definately would want to fix that crack on the outer brick wall. Not sure how much of it would be do it yourself. Also if you know any good contractors I would greatly appreciate it.
