    For what it's worth:

    I was listening to Tom Tynan, the Home Improvement Guy, the other day and he said they are a waste of money because they are meant to stay on all the time and unless you do so they will die a lot sooner than a regular bulb because they aren't made to be turned on and off all of the time.
