anyone else getting a blank screen on your HD channels? the problem is extended to some regular channels too, like Bravo.

I got that in one room that was furthest from the house inlet.

It seems to clear up as long as the cable adn connections are all good and tight.

If it is at the end of a long run that has any tees, you might need to go with a inline amplifier.

That helped a ton on mine.

I have a somewhat related question. I just moved back to Houston, connected my HD with QAM tuner directly with a coaxial cable. I see that I get some free HD channels this way (although the PQ is a joke). I don't just get local channels either. The most surprising being ESPN2HD found on channel 114-7 (I believe). Does anyone have a channel guide that tells me where all the crazy HD channels are (for example 118-327416=Music HD)? Is this a mistake, being able to get ESPN2HD without a box? It seems like I shouldn't be getting it.

Most importantly. Where is ESPNHD located?

I was doing the same thing before I got my box. Channels came a lot clearer when you run the cable drectly to the TV. But your channels must be different than mine. ESPN2 HD was channel 75-220, TBS HD was 70-1, CNN HD was 70-6. But I did not get ESPN or TNT HD this way.

I think they purposely try and hide them so you order the box? I would guess ESPN HD is not an option, unless its hidden somewhere really good. Why have ESPN2HD? I wonder if there is a forum with a channel guide or something. Tinman? Anybody?

I hate Comcast. I wish Time Warner would come back.

I currently have dsl with windstream and they are ok but I still wish Time Warner would come back.

    Anyone know about Entouch Systems?

DirecTV. It has its own issues, though it's been much more enjoyable than my days of cable.

The cable I had in College Station (Suddenlink) was amazing IMO. Excellent PQ, healthy channel selection.
