    Any good ideas about cheap car insurance? I have Allstate right now but it seems like they don't wan't ol Ziggs to get a Porsche.

    Nah, sorry, couldn't resist -- I don't know what it is about that commercial, but I remember it so vividly . . . anyhow, I have no help on Car Insurance, unless you call the depot.

    I've had Progressive for about 2 years now and they've been great. You can always call them and see if they can give you a good rate or not.

    I've been told by friends that Geico is REALLY inexpensive, but I haven't looked for myself yet.

    Geico is very cheap, but you have to have a perfect driving record. My wife and I were turned down, because she had a speeding ticket 6 years earlier. If you are a homeowner, it is best to stay with whichever company carries you homeowner's policy in most cases.
