I need to ship a car from here to Williamsburg, VA.

What kind of pricing should I be looking at? Seems about a month ago I got a quote that was about $700 or so which would suck cause I can't afford that.

What companies out there are fairly priced? I'm hoping for anything $450 and under....

Must be a GM? Otherwise you'd, you know, drive it.

Moving to VA. Me and my wife. I have 2 vehicles. I have reserved a 16' Penske truck and I will be towing a 00' Mustang. Which would almost be like driving an 18 wheeler. I think I could do it but if I can ship it for $450 and under, then I could just use the SMALL Penske truck and save money that way, and it'd be a safer ride.

I moved a car from Houston to NYC about 7 months back and it cost me $500. This was when gasoline was at $4.00/gallon. I tried to ship it back to Houston last week, since I don't use a car anymore and they quoted me $600 and now gasoline is $1.50. Something ain't right.

They have sites where if you give info about your move, about 10 different auto movers will give you instantaneous quotes. They all vary by about $200 or so.

Shipped a large SUV from Maryland to Houston recently. The cheapest quote I got (out of probably about 15) was $750.
