    First question:

    What does the 2027 offseason cap situation look like if we:

    Don’t resign Fred
    Don’t extend Tari
    Move off the Clint contract
    Do give Amen a rookie max extension

    Not a cap expert, but can run numbers.

    188,010,140, for 7 players.

    No cap space. ($174,300,000)

    $32M below 1st apron not counting minimums, FRPs, SRPs, and other players. $46M below 2nd apron. So probably looking at taxpayer MLEs and minimums going forward in free agency.

    I don't expect the Rockets to be below the cap for the next 7 years at least.
