Canadian anthem?

It was sung because there is a team in Toronto NOT because Steve Nash played. Had Nash not been on the team, the Canadian anthem would still have been played.

Tamia's rendition of 'Oh Canada' was tremendous. It put all the other musical acts of the evening to shame.

As much as I love the Canadian anthem, my favorite national anthem has always been Russia's. I love that song so much, and cheer for Drago whenever I watch Rocky 4.

 

Tamia is Canadian, for those who may not know. She is from Windsor, which is across the river from Detroit.

She sang both national anthems at a game before, but I can't recall exactly where/when.

 

Man... I forgot about Rocky 4.... yea, that anthem (and Drago) is bad-ass.

If it wasn't a movie, Drago would have wiped the floor with Rocky, and probably would have been one of the greatest heavyweights of all time... too bad he was doping.

And, I guess I still have to rank canada's anthem above it... only because its in english, and I can actually sing along with it.
