    don't wear socks and you'll be fine. If you wear socks with them you'll look ****ing stupid. Also only get tan ones or maybe dark brown. and find a good belt to match them. as a guy this is a fashion rule you need to understand

    I have one pair, a tan pair of Sperry's. Like BigBird said, I think tan and brown are fine. It's when you get into multi-colored and patterned boat shoes that you get into douchey frat daddy territory.

    They are pretty nice. You have to wear them with the rolled up jeans. No socks. Brooklyn style.

    Classic brown with white soles are great. Getting into Pastels or plaids...it's not for me. That's more "crab cakes and football: that's what Maryland does!"

    Just bought a pair of navy ones with green laces that I don't think quite treads into douchey territory but I liked that it was different from the normal brown/tan ones.

    And actually, I do wear socks when I wear them with jeans, which I think just makes them look like loafers. I'm still wondering if this is a foul though.
