I bought a SONY HD camcorder I needed overnight at Worst Buy for about $800, and then found it cheaper using MYSIMON.COM at an online-only retailer for ~ $500. You should take that model number, input it on mysimon.com, and get a good price, or just buy the same camcorder I bought. It's compact and easy to use.

I can record up to around 5 hours on the highest HD setting, with excellent 1080i quality. Use http://www.retrevo.com/ for reviews.

www.bhphoto.com has had some pretty good deals on HD camcorders. I'm looking around myself for one.

I mean, I don't expect it to be the greatest of great but it seems pretty reasonable to me.

How much recording can you do with 8-GB?

I'm guessing no more than an hour, Lil Pun?
Good stuff, but I don't need one anymore. I might look into doing professional production, but not right now... I'll even buy the same model if I need a second one...

You never answered about what you thought about my camera. :(

Wanna see a demo? I got a video on VIMEO.com . Send me a message through the board if you do.

That's not bad at all, I mean who really films an hour worth of stuff anyway? Since this is so cheap and at Walgreen's (open 24 hrs, 365 days), should I show up at 12:00 AM or earlier or what? I've never, ever done a Black Friday before. :(

Any deals on HDTV's? I need a new one...

CC has the Sony something something W100 for $1,299 which looks like a steal when Fry's/BB is selling it for $1,699.

Sweet. That may be the one I pull the trigger on although its out of stock. Cnet review:

    http://reviews.cnet.com/video-players-and-recorders/sony-bdp-s350/4505-6463_7-32868775.html

The good: Excellent Blu-ray image quality and very good DVD upscaling; compact size; onboard decoding for Dolby TrueHD and bit stream output for all high-resolution audio formats; Ethernet port for firmware updates; BD-Live compatible.

The bad: Recessed USB port can be difficult to access; no onboard DTS-HD Master Audio decoding; quick start option uses power even when player is off.

The bottom lineThe bottom line: The combination of its small design, solid feature set, and excellent image quality make the Sony BDP-S350 a worthwhile standalone Blu-ray player--especially if you can find it for less than $300.

i love my 720 also, plus that tv advertised is a 32inch tv.

anyone who buys a 32inch 1080p is a pure sucker. at that small of a size its impossible to see any difference.
