Take the Bing It On challenge:

    http://www.bingiton.com/

After doing the 5 searches, did you prefer the results from Bing or Google?

Microsoft says that an independent blind test study found that most people prefer Bing.

For me, Bing won 3-1 (a fifth I couldn't decide between them).

I was surprised, because the few times I've used Bing when looking for things I haven't liked it. Maybe its just the look of the website and the way they present the search results.

    Google won 5-0

I do occasionally use Bing though when my VPN makes Google searches inaccessible.

Google won. Bing seems to be decent but I never use it.

I just use the "Whole Internet Catalog," there's a link to it off of Gopher in the VAX lab.

By the third search I could tell which side was which. I don't use Internet Explorer and haven't updated it so the one that had the "Try the new, faster Internet Explorer. It's a 10" in the results side was Bing.

    Google won 3-1-1 for me.

Didn't blind tests also "prove" Pepsi is better than Coke like 20 yrs ago.

I still buy Coke. I must be dumb.

Am I weird for loving my iPad, but didn't like the iPhone. Have always used Android. Can't stand macs and tried the Windows phone and Surface but returned both. Will always use a windows based laptop though.

Taste test happens in isolation, so the sweeter tasting generally wins.

Coke has a complex and nuanced flavor that lasts longer. It's more distinct, which definitely helps with the branding.

    <~~coke all the way
