Bari the Bust

Bari’s not a bust but he’s a role player so certainly not worth the #3 pick. The problem is Bari is not a great shooter. If we don’t think he’s gonna get to 39/40% annually we should trade him. I no longer believe Bari will be a perennial high efficiency long range shooter so I want to move off him. He just doesn’t have the touch. I’ve known this watching him now for 4 seasons and owe it to myself to stop lying to myself.

 

Someone who was the projected #1 pick up until 12 hours before the draft and ends up like this is a bust. Theres a lot of busts who end up as role players. A bust is someone who didn’t live up to their projection. That’s Jabari. Kwame Brown carved up a solid career being a role player and one of the best post defenders in the league. Still a bust. Ironically they’re cousins LMAO.

 

We need to be honest about it, if Jalen was a bust (I actually just think he's an ok player rather than a bust, but bust relative to what we needed) then Jabari's 100% bust. Jabari makes Jalen look like an actual star player in comparison. If the stories are true that Bari was what the Suns actually wanted, we should've done that then used Jalen's contract to find a better lead guard/ballhandler. Jalen better suck ass for the Suns or this might've been this era's version of the Westbrick trade.

 

It's not just him who's bad; the other players aren't performing well either. It's clearly a coaching problem. He needs to be fired.
