bad haircuts.

about a year ago, I had grown my hair out for 9 months. it was the longest and the coolest it had ever looked in my life.

I wanted to get it trimmed up just the least little bit, just the tiniest little bit because I was going to be doing some pictures for my record. and I tried to go to 6 different nice places in 2 days. every one of them was booked or closed or didn't take walk-ins. finally, I just went to supercuts.

and I got the worst haircut of my life.

it seriously made me want to cry. so I decided that I never, ever wanted anyone to see me with my hair like that. so I went in my bathroom, and I shaved it all off completely. looking at all that hair in the trash can made me feel like I felt when my dog died. I don't care if this makes me sound utterly vain; that day SUCKED.

but it grows back.

maybe you could shave your head. . .

 

My freshman year at SWT, I was trimming my sideburns. And I couldn't get them even until I had shaved a few centimeters above my ear. I went to a comedy club that night, sat on the first row, and got mercilessly heckled by the comics because of my "bad haircut".

That's when I started shaving my head.

I've heard horror stories about Fast Freddy's in Austin.

You would think people wouldn't want to get their hair cut at a place called Fast Freddy's.

well i've had plenty of not-so-great haircuts. this one time it just got too long and i wasn't going home for a while so i just went to the place downstairs at dobie and damn did they suck. it was like they were ****ing afraid they might actually make it shorter or something. at least twice i told them to cut more off and they still ended up barely cutting any off. of course that probably beats the time this one woman barber took a straight razor to the back of my neck and when i went outside and felt back there my hand came away with a few smears of blood on it. I swear the damn women barbers don't seem to understand razor's can hurt. Be careful.

Also, damn my hair is long right now but if I can just make it till spring break next week i will be ok.

 

8 months ago I got the worst haircut of my life. dont get me started!!! I just had it shaved clean it was so bad but I like the shaved head look now!

 

Lol. I had short hair as well, the army cut but that was a long time back. I grew my hair crazy the last couple months and its long now. My gf keeps calling me nsync, she says I look like one of the guys JC.

Gawd...any 21 year old chick straight out of a community college cosmetology program can get a job as Supercuts...Hell, you get get a haircut at most community colleges for free...

Sportclips really scares me, also...I mean, what if the person cutting your hair is a fan of one of the teams playing at your chair? One touchdown or homerun at the wrong time, and you either have the worse haircut of your life, or worse, a three inch gash in your scalp...

I get my haircuts at Super Cuts. The best location IMO is the one on Guadalupe, north of the drag. I wouldn't recommend going to the one at the Fountains in Stafford. They have long lines (not even at peak hours), and my last haircut was bad. When I said it looks weird in the back, she said its my hair's fault

I go to Best Cuts in Pasadena every 5-6 days. Best damn haircut you can get.

I used to have semi-long hair. OOoooooh I remember how I used to hate making my hair. Blow drying, moosing, gelling, etc. etc.... Then it would mess up like in 3-4 hrs anyways. Now I get out of bed and my hair is already made!

Supercuts usually does OK with mine... but I don't have layers or anything right now, just really long hair. As long as they can trim it evenly and keep it tapered, I don't ask much.

The worst that has happened to me: when I had bangs, I used to puff them up and curl them (this was 10 years ago). My mom would cut them. I went off to college, and they grew down past my nose (when they weren't curled), so I went in the dorm bathroom to cut them myself. I said, "I can't believe I'm doing this." A certain neighbor of mine was in there too, and she said, "Oh, let me do it. I do my own all the time."

So I did.

She just went "chop", and I had these little tiny short, slanted bangs. Not even at all.

"AAAAGGHHHH!!! "(Name withheld), you ruined my bangs!"

"Oh, I'm sorry. I mess mine up too."

I took the scissors from her and straightened them out... I was never worried about cutting my own hair after that, since I knew it could be worse. But, of course, to get them even I had to make them really short. So they looked kind of stupid for a while. No one else in my dorm would let that girl near a pair of scissors for a long time.
