    "Don't get me wrong... I like chorizo but Bacon is so versatile! The other day I saw a documentary on how the indigenous people of the amazon basin, use it to heal shark wounds. In other parts of the world use is part of their sacred rituals."

    It has also been proven that Bacon played a major role in the building of the Egyptian Pyramids. There are writings on tombs that depict bacon and that it was the only wealth the Pharaohs shared with their slaves. It was either Bacon or a hand dryer. :eek:

    Besides both being greasy, meaty, red, and AWESOMELY GOOD? Oh, I don't know. :(

    So is ham, pork chops, sausage, etc.

    When you eat baby back ribs, do you associate that experience with bacon? I know I don't.

    Now pork belly? Yes, that is a cousin of bacon.
