Well, as usual, the fans will like or dislike Garner based on hindsight.

We won yesterday, so Garner made the right move. If we hadn't won..............................

 

I was not a fan of Jimy, but Garner is doing a great job so far. Garners decisions make sense to me. Sitting down Bagwell a second day seems pretty logical considering his struggles. He also clarified that he wanted to rest Bagwell again so he could go for a long stretch the rest of the way.

I also like the fact that Ensberg is getting consistent playing time. If he keeps it going, that will be huge.

 

I have to say that I feel I was completely wrong about Garner, so far. Hopefully it's not just your typical new manager bounce, but I really like how this team has been playing the last couple of weeks. Gives me confidence for the last two months.
