Saw, in person, this dude drop 40 in the Vegas Summer League a few years ago and have been obsessed ever since. If he never pans out, I have plenty of excuses lined up.

At this point the only Randolph we might need is Zachary

It's weird how Minnesota have essentially 3 similar players in Beasley, Williams, and Randolph. For some reason, I believe two of them will be traded in the offseason.

It's funny, I could see it being Williams and Randolph as the odd men out. Though, the suitors will be among these teams -- Houston, Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix, Toronto, and Boston.

Randolph has the most skills out of their 3 like players - Beasley has been the most productive, and Williams has probably the best shooting.

Together they make one superstar player if all their skills were in one body - and you have to use Williams head.

That being said, Randolph's skillset is intriquing, but with Parsons I am not sure he would get the playing time he needs, someone needs to get him and just put him in the starting lineup and live with the results - my guess is he goes to the Spurs at some point and they pull a Stephen Jackson and turn a malcontent into an NBA player.

I get everyone loves the Spurs right now but remember Spurs were not that good during the Richard Jefferson era and little before that. They can't turn every player into a good player. Certain players yes but not all of 'em.

Jefferson was already a good player - they have the best run franchise in the NBA.

Trade Morris for D.Lamb (whoever drafts him) and sign this guy to a 2yr deal worth 7 mil total and a team option in the 2nd year.

If the Rockets were over the cap, I'd say he's worth a look for the lesser MLE(~$3mil). But the Rockets are not, so not worth anything beyond vet minimum.

Anthony Randolph ( or Micheal Beasley for that matter) is not a SF. He is a stretch 4. Neither are fast enough to guard 3's.

Would you trade the future Dallas pick for him?

    No...maybe...

    Damn you brain!

    Faced with interesting decision.........

If that pick isn't packaged in a deal for 'The Superstar', then Morey may use that pick to get a reclamation project prospect....

I just don't think that he is that good, or consistent.

We need a center or a power power forward, so answer will remain No.

We need a big low post center and a tall, athletic PF that can play the perimeter or drop into the paint.

If they could somehow fashion a trade to where they could send Martin and get Randolph with that 18th pick this year? Yes.

Yes, in a heartbeat. Randolph has shown he can play. Great talent and young. The 16th pick won't give us anyone with more potential than him.

The Dallas pick is not the 16th from this season. It is a pick we will get sometime in the future.
