Any Sports Guy fans watching his animated series on http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/simmons/index I thought the first episode was terribly mediocre. It was your basic stupid cartoon humor. But the second episode was spot on. I can't remember all the times that I thought that something I was doing, affected sporting events. I still vividly remember the first instance of this superstition when I was watching Olympic men's volleyball many years ago. I had it in my head, that the team only played well when I happened to be watching. Unfortunately they were showing the matches on late night TV, and I didn't always feel like staying up to watch them, so the US didn't end up winning the gold. I still blame myself for the whole debacle. BTW: Brackets are so last week. Viva la braces.
