    Oh man, last time one of these dogs died, the Rice marching owl band almost incited a riot at Aggie stadium. They played taps and made the formation of a fire hydrant on the field! This was say, 1990 or so.

    I think they actually have a cadet assigned to make various dog noises after each Reveille dies, you know, to represent each dead collie, so their dead bodies can have conversations with each other, discuss the games, etc.

    That is some incredibly odd stuff with the way the dogs are buried, etc. I knew those Texas A & M folks were a little off, no wonder Coach Bryant left. :D
