Considering how much hate Holiday has received on CF the last couple of years (esp from Reed fanatics), this thread is ironic.

I've always liked him being on the Rockets. He is a player content with his limited role and has a skill that comes in handy.

 

So many of y'all are so quick to write off Holiday but hes a true gem

it was good to see him come in and be a major contributor to the W. I never understood the hate he gets from a lot on here - he has his role and he plays it very well, on a minimum deal, at the end of the bench. Im a big fan of his

 

I'm still pissed that Ime arbitrarily shortened the rotation to 8 players last postseason and barely used Aaron when the Rockets could've benefited from his shooting.

 

Still think he is better than Reed

 

You can also think the earth is flat and that's a-ok with us normals around here who know better.

 

I don't understand why he doesn't play more minutes. He is always a plus defender and adequate shooter. He is the closest thing to FVV since FVV.

 

But wouldn't such a trade also involve Aaron?

 

He's a very underrated defender. I love his hustle at that side of the game.

It was believing he's talking shots & minutes away from other favored young players. ("Better that Reed, Amen & Cam take the shots & minutes that Holiday does") Vet odd-man in, like Tate before.

Then Holiday does not play a "pass first" point guard. So when Holiday shoots instead of passes to the favored players, not staying in his lane like he's "supposed to", its like he's being Kobe selfish

Though Holiday has been the Rockets's best shooter since he's been here, on a team that's needed it
