Getting the correct coordinators is critical. Throw some money at Scheelhaase. It’s a step up for him and he could thrive under McCarthy. Plus, listening to Yinzers try to pronounce his name would be worth it alone. Call Raheem Morris and Anthony Weaver. A box of crayons would be an upgrade over Teryl Austin, but that’s a good place to start.
Yea, after only having 4 coaches during the life of the franchise and typically hiring a younger coach this is a head scratcher. McCarthy just feels like a retread old white guy who will say the right thing, do the right thing but cant really motivate the younger guys.................he doesn't strike me as the guy who will motivate anyone to run through that wall. I sure hope this wasn't to try and get Aaron to stay another year, this team needs a major rebuild
