What makes you think I didn’t listen to it?

It’s stuff we’ve heard before. Every country has their own problems. China’s GDP growth rate (annual) went from 14% (2007) to 7% (2016) in 9 years.

These things happen - it’s not the end of the world.

I enjoyed the video and thought it was a really good perspective (worked/stayed in China many years). I don't think that other poster watched the video based on his/her response

Why: because I don’t agree with it?

    Heard this before.

His point is conventional wisdom are not always. Example, Example more than half Americans think China is the world's leading economic power while most Chinese think USA is the world's leading economic power, Huang says Chinese are right on this point. American perception on China have shifted more unfavorable in recent years.
What points you agree or disagree with?

Well China is also being used politically in this country, sometimes correctly and sometimes incorrectly. China didn't make us stop investing in this country, that's the GOP with their belief in government spending.

Did you watch the video? I know you do not like China, but I think this man makes many points, not just from China's perspective.

"The richer you are, the less likelier you are to be corrupt".

    See: Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, etc.

Like you quoted he said richer countries are less likely to be corrupt, not there are no corrupt rich countries. There will always be exceptions, that's especially true for small (both population & size wise) countries with immense amount of a valuable natural resources. Just take a look at the top 30 countries in terms of per capita GDP, about 90% of those countries are considered as having low levels of corruption.

Altaic lingual East Asians such as the Koreans, Mongolians, and Japanese have a harder time learning and perfecting English due to their grammar structure than the Chinese. I don't know the extent or which of the languages in China this may pertain to but heard it from a Korean professor.

For those looking for Cliff’s Notes, read the video’s description:

Somebody should look into if this guy should be registered as a foreign agent.

Reminds me of this guy: http://www.cnn.com/2017/08/04/asia/singapore-huang-jing/index.html

These people are so stupid. Hello! You’re ethnic Chinese. People already suspect you! Find a less obvious patron. Like Russia or something....

Because a video of ghost cities or slowing down growth rate don't really address anything he was talking about.
    Both seemed like non-sequiturs.
