Even apartments are going down. They try to jack my rent 10% 2 weeks ago and this week, they sent me a new renewal notice with no rental increase and they are offering me $1,000 if I renew now

    *Max 12 sandwiches per guest

Some restaurants are donating all their Pershishable food to food banks since they can't sell the food and it's going to rot soon

If that’s the case, why bring his name up? I’d much rather have the Fertitta family than someone who would be looking to move the team.

People can't afford the rent when they no longer have jobs. It's just like the great recession. If you don't have a job, you can't pay the rent.

And no one is going to rent to you if you don't have a job

Because after 3 attempts, maybe he no longer would move the team? Because if you want someone who has deep pockets, he'd have the deepest pockets in the NBA and bought a Hawaiian island (lol)? He's obviously been interested in at least purchasing a team in the past few years. A more important question would be whether he was interested in buying the Rockets during Alexander's sale of the team to Fertitta. I don't know if the NBA would allow a move out from Houston.

After looking it up, he's gone after the Warriors, Grizzlies, and Pelicans. According to speculation back when he attempted to buy the Grizzlies about 8 years go, he wanted to move them to San Jose.

I don't want the Rockets to move, obviously, but if it ever comes down to a sale, I want somebody that thinks buying an NBA team is a "spare change" purchase. Kind of like Ballmer and the Clippers.

LE wanted a team near home; Seattle did not appeal to him IIRC? Sac did?

Wait I thought Mattress Mack was going to buy the Rockets?
Or maybe the folks who sell Turkey Legs can buy the Rockets?

    You keep forgetting
like maybe 5% here live in Houston.

All these people who want new owners etc aren't from here. They are like Les Alexander from New York, Florida, or Shanghai.

I'd rather have Jerry Jones buy the Rockets, at least that dude keeps it in state.

Do people want these tech billionaires to buy the Rockets? you realize they all live in Seattle or California?
Worst case scenario is that the Rockets become the Seattle SuperSonics

    SCREW THAT

he also wanted to move the Hornets to San Jose in 2011, and the Warriors are already in California...seems that he clearly prefers to be in Cali

I’m good on anyone who would even think of moving the team

if the Rockets ever left Houston, then I’d be done with the NBA...it would be too painful

Texans ain’t sh*t, and baseball is garbage, so I’d probably be done with sports in general outside of the occasional Texans game

Dude most of these fans here don't want the Rockets to be in Houston.

Had a spat with this china fan awhile back who said the Rockets are for everyone and shouldn't be called Houston Rockets.

The top echelon of this fan base is spectacular, but the other part, they might as well root for the Mavericks
