Pacers would never trade him for a protected 1st and House.

Plus I don't honestly want an old-school 4/5 like Sabonis. He's very good young player, but we need 6'9" athletes at the 4, who can swing to the 3. A Jerami Grant/Taurean Prince type (I know neither are available, just 2 names that came to my head).

I can see Sabonis/Jaylen Brown being traded for one another. The main issue would be 2 Eastern playoff teams wouldn't want to trade key pieces to each other, but I would take on Jaylen as our 3 of the future if we somehow got involved (doubt it with out salary situation).

Tucker is better defender and you simply cannot take him out of the starting lineup anymore.

Sabonis is a good defender and has much more size. Indiana was one of the top defensive teams last year. Offensively he is in a different league than tuck.

It is kind of funny people are like 'No' and 'Maybe' for this deal.

Pacers would laugh, hang-up, and then block Morey for even offering this deal.

We don't have first round draft picks to trade and House is not even close to being worth Sabonis.

We usually don't go after PF's that are great rebounders. Fake rumours.

I don't know if he does much for us anyways. He doesn't stretch the floor and plays generally poor defense.

The Rockets need a 3/4 type of player not a 4/5 tweener

Then who is going to play power forward? Sabonis can't play heavy minutes there. He's too big and slow for the modern nba. And at age 34 I'm not sure PJ can keep up with small forwards for a full game anymore.

We cannot have 3 non/bad shooters on the floor together (Westy, Sabonis, Capela). Sabonis cannot guard the perimeter as a 4 and is not a good post defender as a 5. People that say he is a good defender have never looked at his defensive stats.

He is basically a better version of Kanter, who is a useful player that has value in the right system and role. We don't have the system or role for him.

    Not a PF for a D’Antoni/Harden offense...

PF is an identical role to a SF, or a WING in this offense. Sabonis can not play on the wing, offense or defense.

I’d love him as C, or back in the 90s though.

    Also, House is a stud.

If Lakers/76ers turn out to be the teams to be, I'd bet Sabonis at PF would become a bit attractive for a few teams.

A frontcourt of McGee/Howard and Davis, and then Embiid and Horford is going to be extremely tough for us to match up against, and that's forgetting that both teams have athletic 6'8-9 monsters in Lebron and Simmons at the 3 who Tucker could barely handle.

Rebounding is a problem for us against normal teams, I legitimately don't know how we can possibly handle those combo's outside of Capela/Anderson or Capela/Hartenstein duos.

He might be the best bench rebounder in the nba.

    No rebound no championship

The problem is 8 million over the luxury tax next summer under current CBA.

Fake news is saying that next season cap could be at $85.9 Million. Tilman would have to trade Gordon and Tucker for picks.

This. Just because you would make the trade doesn't mean they would.
