Would you sign Kimbrel or Keuchel for 1 year 15mil?

Chance to have a super bullpen or a solid number 3 starter that eats up innings?

If it were these exact circumstances, I would probably do Kimbrel because I think it's easier to trade for a SP at the deadline than an elite closer... Would do either tho.

If either would accept a one year 15 large deal, they would have already signed.

It’s a pretend question out of boredom before the season starts.
Obviously they would both be off the board at that price.
I was just curious who you would have if you could pick one.
I’m leaning more Kimbrel for the bullpen but Keuchel would be a solid addition that would add an inning eating pitcher.

For that price I’d sign both without question.

Edit: Playing along with the hypothetical though I’d take Keuchel. Would rather have the innings eater and save our bullpen for the playoffs.

Kimbrel would be the better option because he's the better postseason weapon, but I'd go Keuchel all day...

I’d sign Keuchel for that in a heartbeat

Having Keuchel means you have James, Peacock and McHugh all for the pen when the playoffs roll around, probably Whitley too

Keuchel ... That way I don't have to look at that stupid dangling arm thing Kimbrel does before every pitch.

Keuchel. Without him the left field corner section would look kind of pathetic wearing beards now.

We didn't even do that officially last season.

There was no Keuchel Korner promotion last year.

What he said, plus Keuchel's history and fan attachment, plus the fact that guys like James, McHugh, etc. could be studs in the pen.

The only question might be, can we get a better comp pick next year out of one over the other?

We're already getting Keuchel production from Miley. Don't need two of them.

Sounds great to me. He's sitting on the bench on my fantasy team waiting for a landing spot.
