IF true, then I'm guessing we should expect to see the Rockets pick up, and play, a big man on the buyout market?

Or was Tilly eager to pay DJ 20 mill to ride the pine?

How would it have worked anyway??

This was before Rockets shellacked the Lakers. Strategy adjustment methinks.

Tilman BABY. He’s gonna spend? This is the closest thing to the tax we’ve ever had.

Thompson doesn’t look like he is going to accept a buyout . Kardashian is expensive so he he needs every penny will probably stay in Cleveland. I’m hoping for someone like thad young or even a Meyers lenoard. Even Taj Gibson

Sure Tman is always willing to spend (on targets that are unlikely to actually find their here).

Why? So that we can see him on the bench getting old?

Doesnt pass the smell test because if they were willing to pay for Jordan they could've gotten some other center instead. Jordan isnt good enough to be either him or bust.

This sounds like typical post trade deadline BS.

yeah, Deandre was aiming hard for the rockets two years ago when FO doubled down on Clint after his breakout Utah series.

Pretty much ghosted the poor guy in the offseason

Haha. Morey was probably authorized to spend into the luxury tax for KD, LeBron, Irving, (name any other unavailable player) too.

Whatever. When he spends into the luxury tax that’s when I’ll believe him. Until then he’s full of ****. The only deals that are completed are those which get him under the limit. That’s facts, not lip service.

Talk....is cheap. IIRC, there has been whining the last two years from ownership about how close to deals the Rockets have gotten, where all kind of spending would happen, but....you know.

We will see what the buyout market brings.
