a body that big isn’t supposed to be doing all the things he does he’s young, so he’s still in that “I’m gonna try and dunk everything” phase, and most of his points require a ton of athleticism I hope he stays healthy, but definitely not holding my breath
His carreer hasn't ever really started and he is breaking down. I do not want to jinx it, or be paranoid but I don't think it is far fetched to call him now a risk and injury prone. It is still early, the story hasn't even begun. I wish the best.
Imagine if the Rockets training staff said someone has a "mild" knee injury and will be out a few weeks.
he's a pelicans big man, so who knows, maybe he'll be healthy for the majority of his career. now if he was a blazers lottery pick...
Just because these athletes are big, it doesn't make their bones, joints or ligaments any more resistant to wear and tear than ordinary people. Any time you have a person weighing 260-300 pounds and putting as much pressure on their body as Zion does through his high jumping and quick direction changes at full speed, it's gonna take its toll. It is absolutely NOT far fetched to be worried about Zion's longevity. For me, he's in the same group as athletic 7+ footers. Most of their careers are riddled with injuries.
Yup. That’s what I have been saying. He is not going to last 82 games per season in the NBA for 10 years.
Yeah, if I were him, (haha), I would really really work on weight loss. Being lean and mean, even if not as purely strong, would be of great benefit to his career.
Yea he will be good the times he on the court. He wont last tho sadly. Guy will get hurt n robbed of what makes him special.
