Which is the best team. I didn't allow myself to put players on multiple teams. So which team was the best? What changes would you make?

    60's
    PG - Bob Cousy
    SG - Oscar Robertson
    SF - Elgin Baylor
    PF - Bob Petit
    Center - Wilt Chamberlain
    6th Man - Connie Hawkins

    70's
    PG - Walt (Clyde) Frazier
    SG - Jerry West
SF - Julius (Dr J) Erving
    PF - Elvin Hayes
    Center - Kareem Abdul Jabaar
    6th Man - Rick Berry

    80's
    PG - Magic Johnson
    SG - Michael Jordan
    SF - Larry Bird
    PF - Kevin McHale
    Center - Hakeem Olajuwon
    6th Man - Charles Barkley

    90's
    PG - John Stockton
SG - Clyde (The Glyde) Drexler
    SF - Scottie Pippen
    PF - Karl Malone
    Center - David Robinson
    6th Man - Dominique Wilkins

    00's
    PG - Steve Nash
    SG - Kobe Bryant
    SF - Paul Pierce
    PF - Tim Duncan
    Center - Shaquil O'Neal
    6th Man - Dirk Nowitzki

    10's
    PG - Chris Paul
    SG - Stephen Curry
    SF - Lebron James
    PF - Anthony Davis
    Center - Demarcus Cousins
    6th Man - James Harden

You 'll need to define the criteria for what era they play Stockton and Jordan were both drafted in 1984, but you have one guy as a 80's guy and another guy as a 90's guy. Actually 3 guys, MJ, Chuck, and the Dream. Is it because Stockton is white? Is that why he doesn't belong with those 3 guys????

Drexler was drafted in 83... and he's a 1990's player? He was drafted ahead of all those 3 guys you have in the 80's player group!

Human Highlight was drafted in 82's, but you have him listed as a 1990's guy!

    80's all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If its with current rules no centers are going to be on the team. I would just go with the warriors lineup with maybe lebron at center for 00 team.

Crash is trying something that's damn near impossible, although I admire the effort. Far too many players have careers that span across two decades. Time lines are simply not cooperating. He might have better luck trying decades that begin and end in 5's. 1985 to 1995, for example. Hell, that really wouldn't work either. It would work for the majority of Dream's prime, but not for a lot of other guys. I can't figure out how to make it work.

    As a coach? By default.

As a player? Serious question? 1 guy was MVP, the other guy was two time 6th man of the year (but so was Detlef Schrempf?)

Exactly. I would think it would be better the other way around in the 80s list. But I guess its up to the OP to explain his choice.

It doesn't matter what rules we use, the 80's starting 5 has a lineup of Hakeem/Rodman/Pippen/MJ/Magic.
Lol are you kidding me? How is this even a poll? Even if you take Lebron/Green/Durant/Harden/Curry I'm pretty sure 80s would own as you will have 4 of the best defenders in NBA history on the court.

These are the dumbest debates. The answer is and always will be the current era at the time. In every sport! There's maybe 20 players that played in the 60's and 70's that would even make it in todays league.

60s because they had tight pants and no 3pt line. simpler times.

    McFail better off the bench

Players should be on multiple teams but, if no one wants that, Jordan is much more of a '90s player than an '80s player. He began his climb to fame in the '80s, but he became a worldwide icon in the '90s and won all his titles in the '90s.
