What organization is more important to this City?

    To me the Rockets are more important than the entire Oil/Gas sector of Houston.

    If I had a chance to rid myself of either Papadeux's or the Texans, I'd have to say I really enjoy the shrimp.

    I purposely left out the Astros. Making the choice simpler,
    because the Astros and Rockets have been in Houston for decades, it would be hard to choose between the two.

    obviously, you're going to get some skewed stats on a rockets mboard...

    also, i think the astros are more "important" to houston than the Texannes at this point. i don't necessarily want that to be the case, but i think the current state of the football franchise is in such disarray that it is flying somewhat under the radar.

    considering all the sports talk is always about the texans, even though its negative, i'd say Texans by FAR. Then the Stros, then the Rockets.......just judging by the talk on sports radio......

    I think the Texans are the most important to the city simply because the NFL brings so much visibility.

    However for me personally, Astros=Rockets>Texans in terms of importance, but that is largely because I moved away from Houston in 2002.

    The rockets are sometimes not even on the front page of the sports section and they are 12-6 and no one talks about them on sports talk radio. The Texans are garbage and they dominate the airways.

    eh, nobody's watching anyway. they're never on national TV. and affiliates in places like austin aren't carrying their games anymore.

    This is easy, well, because the Texans suck..I'd have to say the Rockets because they've won championships and Yao and T-mac are doing it again this year...
