I love the wishful thinking about everyone finishing 12-4, but I don’t think Baltimore loses 2 more games. New England on the other hand, that’s where there’s a legit shot. They have a resurgent KC coming up this week and if the Bills offense can generate anything they could lose that game as well. Above everything tho the Texans need to take care of business against Denver, Tampa, and the Titans x2
It's possible, man... I just *think* H2H is thrown out if it doesn't produce a clear winner (which this scenario would not) - but I put no faith in my answer here......
they are easily the most overrated team in the playoff hunt. Mahomes has regressed in TD%, increased his turnover % and they haven’t shown the ability to stop the run in any scenario.
This. We've been down this road before only to be disappointed. I'm personally playing with proverbial house money as far as the Texans go this year.
Titans are looking real good now that they have a qb to go with the rb. Worry about them first. Knocked off the Patriots and Chiefs 3x in the last 2 years.
Baltimore beat Buffalo by 7 pts today and beat us by 34 points. Today we got punked by a QB in his 2nd NFL game. Without Fuller we are the ones who look like the biggest frauds in the AFC. We were embarrassing to watch in both those games. Can Fuller even stay healthy the next 3 games? If not, well we might just find ourselves out of the playoff race. Now that would be sick, but a typical Texans style letdown.
If the Texans miss the playoffs then OB should be fired for sure. No excuses on not winning this division.
Texans will face 8 backup QBs this year: Indy x 2 (retirement right before the season) Titans x 2 (benching the starter) Jags x 2 (injury) Broncos (injury) Carolina (injury) 3 of those games - Jags, Broncos, Carolina - featured a rookie making their 1st or 2nd NFL start (lost 2 of the 3; won the 3rd by 1 pt because of a failed 2pt conversion).
