What is the story on this?
If it is injured .. . FIX IT
Honestly I am not overly tolerant of this being a season long story
If we go to fix it .. . how long would he be out?

Either this is causing some of his issues. . . or not
If it is FIX IT . . if it is not .. . FIX HIM!

His hand is "fine". (That's what Mike said! Heyo! ;))
He plays basketball for a living. His hand isn't gonna get better.
If his hand "injury" is causing problems, he must've had hand issues his entire career.

It is not Russ's Midrange game that bothers me. . . it's his LONG TWO game

Honestly .. . on so many of these he is WIDE OPEN
but cannot knock down the shot
I prefer him drive or even back his man down a bit further
His turnaround fade away is better than his wide open Jumper . . . . from my eye test

Could be that bricking wide open jumpers offends my eye more

In no way should Russell Westbrook take 30 shots in a game That is just ridiculous. He should be capped off at 18 or so and over half of them should be at the ****ing basket. Infuriating to see a player with his talent settle for Tim Duncan shots off the glass that always brick.

Tape Session should go something like this
"See here Russ . .. . you took this long two and missed. . .that is a problem." - DanAndToni
    "Yea .. i know. . . but I was wide open . . and man ..i just missed them . . .but I CAN HIT THAT SHOT!!" - Russ
    "No . . you can't . .. not consistently" - DanAndToni

    Much to do ..
    about nothing

I will be honest about the dunks falling off for westbrook.

The defense has been stout and stingy all around to slow harden.

the hand is an issue. Theres a reason he doesn't dunk and it's making him such at the rim and the J

Why can't Harden ever play with non injured stars?

I think even some of you guys on here have been subtly influenced by the talk about Harden which centers on "he just has extremely high usage, let any other star player ISO and jack as much and they'd be scoring that much too!".

Remember before the season a ton of people thought Steph was going to hit for like 35 a game and on much better than Harden efficiency. Reality was he couldn't even stay healthy with increased usage.

Relative to this thread... it's not as simple for every player as put him in ISO system of current MDA, and let him go to town.

Absolutely, Russ needs to shoot better, not turn the ball over, etc. Maybe also mix in a play or two?? He seems to do better with those...

Anytime you can trade multiple assets for an injury prone, historically inefficient, bad fitting player, you simply have to do it.

He could also pass the ball! Russ is very good at doing that. If those long jumpers were only because the 24 second clock was about to go, "ding! ding! time's up!" that would be one thing. Far too often, that has nothing to do with those jumpers. It's exasperating.

I have no clue about Russ and injuries. I do know that I do not trust the rockets medical staff to be forthcoming or to manage these injuries well.

I have seen too much day-to-day, to out a couple of games, to put a month .

I have zero confidence we have a plan in place for Russ to be peaking come playoff time .

Russ isn’t a player that gets by on skill. He dominates on his athleticism and when he’s healthy. If he feels like he can’t dunk hard because of his hands then wtf are we doing .
