Westbrook Is a clear upgrade over CP3

    Stop over analyzing this. We upgraded our PG position while dumping an aging CP3. You guys act like we didnt run ISO plays for CP3 all the time anyways. Its not like we were going to change our system this off season anyways. At minimum we know Westbrook is a great rebounding Guard, and do I need to remind anyone how bad our rebounding was when Capela was on the bench?

    Breathe. I love it.

    I’d rather have a healthy CP3 but I get the merits of this trade. This team can compete for a title.

    By what metric is Westbrook better? He’s more durable but while on the court he’s been clearly worse the past two seasons and is quickly declining. He is also a worse fit and on a worse contract.

    And the Rockets gave up 2 picks and 2 picks swaps.

    James Dolan is the owner of the Houston Rockets.

    ISO heavy offense is not the players fault. It is the fault of MDA. It MUST go. MDA needs to finally coach this team and coach Harden instead of spoiling him.

    CP should've just reworked his contract. Too old to be making that much money. Now no shot at a ring.

    He is not. He simply has not been for the past decade. No metrics or or literally anything except per game totals back it up.

    Yo would have to assume CP3 falls offs a cliff and there is just no basis for that assumption. No even the scoring regression.

    NO he is not, he is a guy who is declining and his skills are deteriorating as his athleticism wanes.

    CP3 can still make everyone better, Westbrook is a chucker who can't shoot.....this is 100% a grasping at straws move unless the plan is the move Westbrook to another team.

    CP3 is a better defensive player, even now. He's a better shooter, and he is a far better decision maker.

    The worst part of all is that I think Westbrook's athleticism is gonna start to go very soon, at which point he will be a disaster. I think this is a complete catastrophe for the franchise

    A 37 year old Chris Paul making 44 mil in 2021/22 or a 33 year old Westbrook making 47 mil in 2022/23...Damn long term Westbrook seems like a way better option!

    His body is an upgrade but his brain is a huuuuuge downgrade. I hope Harden gave him an intervention before this happened.
