Daryl Morey is so mediocre. A real GM signs good role players around their superstars. They don't sign mediocre players. Daryl Morey has proven consistently he's a mediocre GM.

He isn't mediocre but this job and Fertitta has downgraded him IMO. He can only work with cheap pieces and scrubs.

You are only as good as those chess pieces you are able to work with.

He also drafted Capela. This argument never holds up.

Appreciate the post @ch44. Thanks for coming back!

The knock on Jones was work ethic and BB IQ. If the work ethic has improved that is a good start. He has great tools. You never know.

My first thought watching that video is T Jones looks heavy. So that is kinda worrisome.

Still has that slow release 3 but not sure that ever was going to change. His passing eye though is good.

Morey had a chance to sign Jeff Green, who was cheap, he could've replace Luc Moute. Morey also missed on signing Rodney Hood.
Instead of signing them, Morey signed a bunch of scrubs. His only good signing was House, but Morey failed to keep him.

We traded hood to Kings to get a Shumpert instead.Luc hasn’t played more than 4 games this season. Jeff Green has not been bought out by the wizards

He drafted Capela but also didn’t want to bring Capela over. Luckily Capela forced his way over rather than waiting 2 years he was slated for.

This is probably wishful thinking but he is actually hitting 3s now. He reminds me of james posey on how his shot was all over the place. He kept on slinging the ball back behind his head and so he was streaky as could be. When he was hot in practice, he would shoot it a few times and hit at a high rate. His career was basically over after we made the wcf a few years ago and teams figured out that he could not shoot at all most days. When everyone quit biting on his pump fake, our spacing was killed and he became unplayable overnight. In any highlight from this year, his shot still isn't pretty but it is consistent.

Jeff Green was a free agent last Summer, where Morey had a chance to sign him, but Jeff Green sign with the Wizards for cheap... Rodney Hood was also available last summer, he signed a cheap contract with the Cavaliers. The Cavs traded him to the Blazers on trade deadline, NOT Houston....

Cavs trades Alec Burks to Kings and we got Shumpert

But honestly speaking none of these guys move the needle for us

Jeff Green is playing good with the Wizards. He'll fit perfect with the Rockets. Rodney Hood is better than what the Rockets got now.
