I'm surprised this hasn't been posted yet. There are, however, a few other stories out there. Perhaps this signals that Onuaku is not in our plans? He played very few minutes last night.
Well Nanu is a center, Oliver not. Nanu also got injured i think, that's probably why he didn't play at some point.
Onuaku has a guaranteed contract Besides, Morey has never cut rookie, second rounder before, so the signing was a given. [edit] brain fart ... Cam was undrafted but agreed to terms on draft day, apparently.
I wasn't sure about the injury. I haven't been able to find anything about Onuaku getting hurt. But he didn't look like himself last night. The timing of this announcement made me wonder whether Onuaku could be part of a monster package.
ThatBoyNick faints Excited about this, thought he was signed to a real deal on draft night but guess not, but at least it's done now and we have him locked up.
In MDA system pf and c are interchangeable because of the small lineups so inevitably he will play some center
Yeah, you're overthinking, like what does any Rockets new mean about Melo. Hold onto your seats, because Ulthoff might start over Zhou on this back to back, to give Morey a looksie on big minutes. But CF.net will explode thinking Zhou must be part of trade package, so camp that play. When all it means is Zhou won't play every game in SL, and coaches always do this
Basketballholic "The reason the Rockets didn't play Uthoff in summer league is because they don't want other teams to know how good he is, if he play's he will dominate and teams will demand him in any trade"
