    Let that sink in...

Going back to the haul we were going to commit for Carmelo, when it was clear he'd be a bad fit, to Jim's decision now. How inept is this front office? It's like they've accepted that they are too shitty to develop or draft talent on their own that they just resort to these gimmicky ways

Four 1st rounds includes two that are to dump Knight and Chris.

Two late first rounds for and all star at his prime isn't a bad deal at all, especially given how quickly CP3 was declining and how fast our window was closing.

How many last late first round rookies can contribute on a near all-star level in one or two years? Almost none in the history of the NBA. Do we really want to bet on this once in 70 years chance?

Houston will unlikely ever be a prime destination for top-tier FAs. We need to draft shrewdly and trade shrewdly for under-performing players who are mis-cast on their current team.

Ryno cost this team 2 titles and its future. Fatal flaw. Morey was on tilt losing Dwert and then when he had a chance to dump him and do something different he couldn’t let go of a loser. Of all people that is unforgivable. To me this is 100% the result of ego.

Now we get to watch the best player outmatched by the era of superteams. We will continue to stupidly blame that player when he scores 60 and cannot beat 4 or 5 all stars.

Who gave Rhyno his contract? Morey
Who gave CP3 the albatross contract? Morey

No point blaming the players for their contracts when a mediocre GM is handing them out like it's Zimbabwean currency

The first rounders are trash, and whoever wants them can have them. They have almost no value other than having something to talk about on draft night.

I think they are going all in for Harden's prime and trying to capitalize on it. They realize his talent is special and the championship window especially his is closing. They are willing to gamble the short future in during his tenure.
