I don't have an opinion on him tbh, he may not be that good but that's not an easy team to coach i think. OKC fans have been talking **** about their coach from like 10 years now, Brooks and Donovan are maybe/probably mediocre at best, but maybe there's also something about the roster that doesn't work that well, i mean, McHale was not better than Brooks and Donovan i'd say, but he still made it to the conference finals with a good but not exactly great team.
Heck, I wish we had Kanter, instead, but I agree with the sentiment. I still don't understand why he didn't play and agree that there's a good chance that he would have made the difference.
It’s so easy to blame Donovan. The fact is presti built a team with length and athleticism but shitty shooting. Plus he has to work with a perminial playoff choker who has low bbiq (especially in 4th quarters) and can’t shoot, yet thinks he’s curry.
Well Portland is dealing with the exact same thing, only they were swept two years in a row in the 1st round. Someone will be going home 3 years in a row in the 1st when it’s all said and done. Atleast Portland got the sweep aspect out of the way though
Pg had bad luck w this injury. Hes like 70% of their positional offense but when he regains touch series might be already over
Steven Adams went brain dead not calling a time out instead of passing from the floor only to lose the possession. We needed them to do in the last game. They played like smart and savvy everytime against us this season.
Great game. This series is shaping to be the best. lmao he had one great game and now his defensive struggles are just reputation.
Talk about an understatement from Stotts. Without Kanter they lose this game, in my opinion. It is one game, though. Should be a good series going forward.
I hear you, but I also think Stotts has a point. A lot of non-Rockets fans still think Harden is an abysmal defender. Those labels are hard to shake off.
I'm gonna have to reassess my opinion of Kanter's defense. I don't want to be the Kanter version of a Harden-Hater.
