Russ needs to grow up. If he did, I’d pull more for the guy. And you gotta love the media right? Pray tell media members, what were your thoughts on Lillard exactly one year ago?
Look if u average a triple double for the season while your starting center averages more offensive rebounds than defensive rebounds, u deserve to lose in the first round.
Yeah, i mean, these are Adams rebounds per game in his last three seasons: 2016-17 (the year Westbrook got the MVP): 7.7 in 29.9 minutes 2017-18: 9.0 in 32.7 minutes 2018-19: 9.5 in 33.4 minutes I have no doubt in my mind that a guy like Adams would've been easily over 10 boards per game in any other team by playing those minutes, he's big, super strong, high energy guy, knows how to boxout, he's a fighter...and i don't think it's a coincidence that in the 2015-16 season he averaged 6.7 boards in 25 minutes (so, basically rebounding more with less minutes played) while Westbrook rebounding was at 7.8 (3 boards less per game than in the next/MVP season). Add those 3 boards to Adams and he would average around 12 per game, which sounds about right for a player like him.
WB is like a crackhead/drug addict. He does things to his detriment, gets better and then goes back to it. The jumpers are like that to him. He’ll make one out of 20, flex and shoot 20 more misses
Anyone think OKC can pull out a few wins and make it to game 7? Was going to bet on an OKC win tomorrow night.
I wouldn't bet on the Blazers to win game 5, i think they are favourites at home, they're usually better and pretty good at home but, it's one game and OKC will fight to survive.
I do not I think they will come out the gate and absolutely blow the doors off in the first but Lose in the Second Rocket River
I didn't get a chance to vote. But when I was picking the series on my twitter timeline I had OKC in 6. Really surprised by Portland's effort here. Speaks volumes about them.
Adams got glued to the bench in the 4th quarter of the last game and i didn't see them playing much better, even though they probably had Noel at the 5 until the end so, not exactly a small ball lineup...but i don't know, i think OKC should in fact use Adams more to attack Portland in the paint, that's were they're really weak, by going small i think they might help the Blazers, cause they could play with 5 shooters and space the floor much better without having a to care about a big/physical presence in the paint, i think they could easily match up well with this lineup: Aminu Harkless CJ Curry Lillard ...against: Grant George Ferguson Schroder Westbrook Portland has four good to great shooters here, OKC has one.
I wonder what PG's honest opinion about his free agency decision is now. The Lakers are a complete shitshow, but playing with LeBron would have at least given him some hope to get rings. But by hitching his wagon to Westbrook, he might have sealed his fate in that department.
