Savage is the clear starter after 2 preseason games. That said I'd be shocked if Watson doesn't enter a game at some point this season. There's no way Savage is going to stay healthy.

Savage should light it up next week. Playing a Saints defense.

Deshaun Watson is a gamer, but he has accuracy issues. Deshone Kizer is a better QB. Hopefully Watson's accuracy issues can be corrected. Some people say they can't. We shall see.

Considering Savage is passing at 85% accuracy compared to 51% for Watson after the first 2 games I would definitely pick Savage. When Watson gets his accuracy down then his mobility will give him the edge. Until then, I can't see him starting over Savage.

Savage looked good Watson looked bad. That said, I still shudder at the thought of 16 games of savage. Really disappointed in Watson tonight.

Well, Savage makes me nervous too, because he seems so slow at times. I keep thinking he is going to get sacked. But, he has done what it takes to move the ball down the field at 85% accuracy, which is awesome. I love that neither has thrown any interceptions so far. Shudder, is the feeling I had dreading Osweiller playing again this year before he got traded. The nightmare is over, and we should enjoy watching our offense a lot more this season. Last year I didn't even enjoy some of the wins, because our offense was so horrific. Tennessee is going to be our biggest rival this year, and I look forward to seeing JJ, Clowney, Mercilus, and crew bring on the defense like nobody has seen yet!

Savage looked great. Everyone should be happy about that. Any QB the Texans put on the field will be better than Brock.

I don't think a third or fourth preseason game is going to change many minds. Savage should be the starter for week 1.

I think it's ridiculous for people to say his accuracy issues can't be corrected. Nobody knows that. He led his team to a Championship, and has the skills to become a starting NFL quarterback. I think he just needs time to adjust to the big boys, get more comfortable in our system, and our receivers. Who knows how long that will take, but it isn't gonna happen by week 1. Savage has earned the spot in my eyes. We need to win, and he is our best chance until Watson proves otherwise.

So is it normal to draft an inaccurate QB and say "meh, that's easy to fix"?

It seems to me like it would be one of the hardest things to fix.

I mean the dude can't throw the ball where it's supposed to go. That's his #1 job.

Um.....Watson was VERY accurate in college. When you complete 67% of your passes every year in college, accuracy is not an issue.
