I'm not sure that OU's defense is all that terrible this year. They can take advantage of the height difference outside if Sam can get time and we can ever pick up a blitz.

 

It's definitely nowhere near as bad as last season. The problem isn't even really that OU's playing that well defensively. They've been able to make some plays already -- the problem is every other time they get a 1st down they waste a down. This game should be tied at the very least with the turnovers that have happened already.

 

Not a good half, but only down a TD. Herman, Beck and Sam have some homework to do at halftime.

Murray is such a ****ing good LB. And we still cannot pick up a blitz.

I'm assuming the Herman hate equals Cougar fan. So no, he doesn't really have a college team.

 

Johnson is a much, much better RB than Ingram. Ingram should be taking a backseat to a converted QB. Every time I see Johnson run, he gets a lot of positive yards.

 

can you imagine if he can also throw the ball?

This is the most unprepared our team has looked in the Herman era. Strong-level tackling and timid offensive play calling for the entire first half.

 

Duvernay messed up his second straight kickoff return. That ball was going out of bounds. Duvernay is losing us field position.

 

I missed it.

OU's DC is coaching circles around whoever is in charge of pass protection.
