I forget which episode I stopped watching Preacher. I think it was the episode with the cheerleaders in the woods. any who... I enjoyed the second season premier.
Man, the introduction to the Amazing Ganesh has to be one of the most twisted macabre scene I've ever seen on TV. It's almost Kafkaesque in its brilliance. I'm really loving this new tone and direction. Definitely a must watch show this season. 9/10
Huh? This is the only thing on rt now I am watching, unless there's some other majorly huge show I am missing out on. Can't think of anything....
I don't watch a lot of it, but if you go on rotten tomatoes there are always a lot of different shows with compiled reviews in the 90 percentile or above.
Totally, no one I know watches it. To me it's right on par with Better Call Saul/Fargo/The Americans, which are also batting near 100% on RT. AMC shows are beyond great (even TWD held my attention for a couple seasons), and FX is close behind. The trippy "looking for God in NOLA" montage reminded me a lot of the Marco/Jimmy scam montage from BCS. I immediately thought it was Sam Catlin, but he only worked on BB, not BCS. The macabre/absurdist humor is refreshing. More shows should go there.
Heck yeah, knew how the target range bit would end! The hole thing had an OTT feel like the Venture Bros..
