It's finally hitting the fan. Looking back at it this show is a very very slow burn, even Jessie is slowly learning wth is going on along with us. It'll flow better once it's completed and everyone can binge watch it.

Great episode Sunday - finally! Small tidbit I saw on wiki from the comics Spoiler I have never read the comics, but I thought I saw somewhere that Eugene was a rockstar in them? Maybe he gets brought back from Hell and has a new perspective on life vs. his go-lucky self he was.
Sorry. I edited it but it appears you quoted it so won't do much good. I have never read the comcis, just looked at Wikipedia to help me figure out what the hell is going on. Nothing I read about Eugene ties in to what happened this last episode, so they could certainly be going a different direction with him.
Exactly. You can tell this show is worth giving a chance. The world is too messed up not to be interesting haha.
Question: Has this show improved enough for me to return watching? I quit after the first 3 episodes.
I would say yes -- last episode was best yet. Starting to finally understand what is going on. They have a bunch of different story lines that they appear to be slowly tying in all together. I still have no idea why they showed that Cowboy from way back when.
I did find some of the angles for shots on the post fight scene to be very poor, like half of the custodians head shown on part of the screen during a Cassidy reaction shot to an important bit of dialog from Jessie. Not quality..
Again some poor choice of angle for some shots in the last one, still getting better tho. Only 2 more left this season, so all you with short attention spans can binge watch it...

It's already been renewed for a second season. Still wondering why Tulip blew up a helicopter with a homemade rocket launcher in the pilot. I'm at the point where I don't understand if I'm even supposed to understand what is going on in the show. The Eugene is here but not here thing didn't track with me at all.
It has to do with the map she stole in the opening scene, they were trying to get it back. From watching Talking Preacher last night this whole season was the prelude to the comic. The last scene of S1 is the first in the comic so the real story will start S2 and much of S1 was giving us backstory for things that wouldn't make sense without it.
Really enjoyed this season and the way it was shot. It was definitely slow in the beginning but found the series funny and entertaining. Looking forward to next season.

Got it. Give us a season that doesn't make sense so that next season makes sense. Despite my general confusion throughout the show it did keep me entertained, so I'll continue watching next season.
