I'm glad there is a ceasefire but this is a huge victory for Turkey. They get their "safe zone" and also economic sanctions lifted.

Please be aware that the Kurdish terror groups are just another band of useful bodies and they've outlived their use because their ambitions work directly against our ally. ALSO the Turkish troops did not attack our troops. You are misrepresenting a shelling that was near their position that could have been related to what the Turks claimed: an attack.
Are you familiar with smoke and mirrors... have you not noticed consistent nato coopoeration on syria? This is another step. I would love to play chess against you. The us and israel want turkey there dividing syrias army while israel takes the stolen heights to the south. This is working out well for team israel. Team turkey gets what it wants too... and the us...well not sure what we get. russia is content btw. They want to have a port there with syria and this situation gives them that reason. It also positions them to stop the final end of the belt and road or any chinese pieplines... thus continuing its supply role for the eu regarding energy.

spare me your platitudes...they did not die for us. They died for their own selfish ambitions. They were stealing land from Syrian arabs and engaging in land theft and ethnic cleansing. Not to mention their PKK ties which is a group the slaughters innocent turks. Yeah they had this comin'. You are not going to win by defending a group of terrorists just because some fluff pieces convinced you they were heroes. The US routinely arms groups to suit their needs. Many of the groups with the Turks btw... the moderate rebels... they are going after the kurds. We armed most of them too. I am not trying to be a jerk but this is the US policy.
