It doesn't scare Dems as much as it excites Trumpanzees, They would take great glee in having pursued a white nationalist agenda for four years and having the targets of their wrath actually vote for them.

It's also pretty hilarious that when the blacks vote Democratic they're just brainwashed with a plantation mentality but if they vote Republucan they're independent thinkers. The stupidity of conservative talking points knows no bounds.

Actually the plantation idea is that dems act like they own the black vote... less about blacks being stupid. You put that spin on it.

Dems and the blacks are inextricably linked because Republicans have embraced white supremacy since Nixon and have very intentionally branded themselves as a southern and midwestern white Conservative party. Republicans gave Democrats the black vote. I guarantee you the blacks would rather have the choice of both parties but you took that away from them. If you want it back you'll have to stop attacking them with bullshit legislation and looking the other way where there are serious problems to be addressed. The use of plantation language by Republicans to describe the link and goad the blacks is so ****ing stupidly racist. Absurd to the nth degree. No shame.

Do you actually think that matters?

It's really telling that you think Kanye holds that kind of sway over black people.

    LOL.

Do you not understand how online polling can be easily manipulated?

It is 2019 and people still think that black people all think the same, feel the same and do the same..... black people are still this mysterious stereotype for some people apparently.

I cannot decide if certain posters view black people as children or as dogs.

True. But that's not what they've been doing, either recently or, for blacks, for quite some time. Many of them seem to be waking up to this. Trump has gained this support doing exactly as you indicate. So, it is indeed sound advice, but Dems don't seem to be following it.

As for raising support from 9 to 15...that's 6% of a fairly sizable community that Democrats used to take for granted (and its really more like from 9 to 20+). Which translates to perhaps a couple percentage points, or more in the general. Elections are won, or lost, on swings like that. So, as I said, by all means, please do continue ignoring this.

White people in this country have been attempting to "shepherd" black people for the past 400 years, why do you care now?

Or, as a demographic, like so many others. So, being treated just like everyone else. Is there some particular reason blacks should be excluded from this, when every other demographic is included? Do women all vote the same? No. Do people track how 'women' vote/feel/think on various issues? Of course they do. So, nothing to get bent out of shape about, unless being treated like everyone else is an issue? Especially when statistics do show that blacks are indeed the most monolithic voting block there is, with over 90% consistently voting Democrat.

So what's your take about him losing the women and suburban voters at an equally large rate?

Trump hasn't addressed issues ways that are favorable to most minority communities and certainly not to largely African American activities. He has weakened education, focused on lowering funds available for education, refused to address the racism in the criminal justice system, in addition to his stereotyping.

definitely can. Which is why I repeatedly said take a single poll with a grain of salt. But there have since been two more.

What do you plan on doing in your community to change this?
