Well sure, the president could have handled things that way, but he didn't and the way he handled it, the guy is certainly not going to jail. Same outcome, so why the faux outrage from so many other than the fact that someone they didn't agree with isn't going to jail? It's not like he gets his job back, he's just another random pensioner now living out his final years.

Fair enough, and so did Hillary...she deserved to face legal consequences much more so actually given that what she did was more serious but I'd say the same thing to people having an emotional freak out calling her "evil" as a result.

I mean, this is just what it looks like when people have political connections and they get into minor legal trouble.

You gotta read the article. It was literally the word "evil" repeated thousands of times. Absolutely no substance. Nothing but a bleeding heart whining about the righteous pardoning of a great American patriot. For real, read it. You'll laugh at how hard it tries and fails to make Joe look like a piece of racist crap that deserves to die of gonorhea and rot in hell. Hilarious.

This is a big deal. I'm a little surprised no one has made a thread about it. It's come out that Mueller is working with the AG of the State of New York so that state charges can be brought against... someone or several someone's. That doesn't prevent trump from granting pardons to people, but if they face state charges they'll still be prosecuted. It could enable Mueller to work with the NY AG in offering deals for testimony. trump can only pardon federal charges.

trump is going to go ballistic.

Correct... this has been in process for a while. NY's AG has been a key figure...

Trump is playing checker w his pardon power, while Muller is playing chess w state AGs.

    another analogy,

Trump is to a day-trader, as Muller is to Warren Buffet

As it relates to the racist sheriff, just thinking

To the extent that his acceptance of the Presidential pardons amounts to an admission of guilt,
the Az and or local AG can use that as evidence to prosecute the racial profiler in state or local court.
Too, he is obligated to testify against himself, as he can no longer plead his 5th amendment rights

    I really don't grasp bobby's logic here.

The FBI explcitly stated that Hillary's mismanaged emails had no vital classified information leaked that would result in tangibly negative consequences.

Bobby can't even tell you a tangible victim with Hillary's emails.

Joe, a sherrif explicitly violated the 4th amendment rights of American citizens and was pardoned for it.

That not only negatively affected citizens in a real tangible manner it also sets a dangerous precident and message to our law enforcement that this administration will turn a blind eye to bill of rights violations by them.

Like how can Bobby rationally hold that opinion?

He can not. That is why engaging him is pointless. Some people are wired in a way that rational thinking no longer works. Bobby's world is set a certain way, and no matter what happens, he will spin it to fit that world. Using logic is a waste of time.
