just saw that too. My first thought is that this has to have something to do with dealing with North Korea. Trump's got to realize he's going to need more allies and that he's got to give up something in return. Just a guess.

He thought that pulling out would work. Can get them back to negotiating a trump deal. No one is going to trust a liar. The world will just move on.

Paris climate accord: Syria 'to sign up', isolating US

The US is set to become isolated in its stance on the Paris climate agreement, after reports that Syria is preparing to join the deal. The Paris deal unites the world's nations in tackling climate change.

Syria and Nicaragua were the only nations outside the deal when it was agreed in 2015. Nicaragua signed in October. In June the US said it would withdraw, but the rules of the agreement state that this cannot be done until 2020. Meanwhile, French officials said US President Donald Trump had not been invited to December's climate summit in Paris. More than 100 countries have been invited to the summit, which is aimed at "building coalitions" with finance and business to further the accord, an aide to French President Emmanuel Macron said.

The irony that a country often busy polluting its air with chemical weapons while killing its own people doesn't escape me, but the fact that the United States is now the only country in the world not to adhere to the Paris climate agreement simply highlights how backward the trump regime is, and how that regime is busy isolating our country from the rest of the world. It is madness, in my humble opinion.

If everybody else jumped off a cliff, would you do it too?

Heck no! I'd be left wondering why I was the only person left standing at the edge of the cliff. ;)

Other countries made a meaningless platitude that the US didn't? The horror.

Trump's "America Last" policy is really coming to fruition in a tremendously bigly way.

This far-reaching plan with intended long-term effects isn't immediately fitting my narrative!

It's interesting that Putin let his puppet in Syria enter into the Paris agreement but not his puppet in the US.

I deeply resent being called racist, but thank god our orange president is not black.
